Mark grew up in Rayleigh and now lives in Leigh.

He has loved photography for as long as he can remember. About 5 years ago he set himself a personal challenge to capture a different local scene every day is never without a camera.

His passion is telling Leigh's story through its people, places and wildlife. He wants to help people to see the town's familiar spots in a new light and takes huge inspiration from the French photo journalist Henri Cartier-Bresson and his capturing of 'decisive moments' or split seconds of drama.
